Catch Christmas at Kumu Kahua as the benefit series unwraps three nights of the ultimate directing challenge. All ticket sales benefit the nonprofit theatre’s daily operating costs as it hits the halfway mark to its fundraising goal with the help of the series and support of the community. Holiday-inspired concessions will be available for purchase during show intermissions, adding to the festivities.
“The Work” is a hilarious directing challenge that take audiences behind- the-scenes of the creative process and makes them the judge! Right in front of the live audience, two directors will be allowed a limited amount of time each to stage the same unrehearsed scene, using the same actors. At the end of the showdown, the audience gets to be the judge of who did it best in these uproarious competitions hosted by “The Work” creator Jason Kanda. General Admission tickets to the following shows are $20 each evening as part of the Christmas at Kumu Kahua special:
