From Identification to Action: Hands-On Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle Lā Hoʻonaʻauao
Join us at the Maunawila Heiau Complex in Hauʻula, Oʻahu, on Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to talk story with local Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB) expert Kanaloa Bishop. Kanaloa will explain how to identify these invasive insects, their life cycle, and what they mean for our community and ʻāina. Following the discussion, you can participate in a hands-on trap-building activity and learn what steps to take to monitor and reduce CRB populations at home and in the community.
