The 3/4 sized Wall is 375’ X 7.5’ and has the names of 58,281 men and women that were killed in the Vietnam War. The 278 names of the Hawaii born residents are listed. The event will have its Opening Ceremony on 14January2026 at 10:00. The UH West Oahu Great Lawn will be the location. The 53’ Mobile Education Center will be the center of attraction that tells the story and has artifacts from the war. There are over 400,000 items left at the Wall, some of these items are on display as well. The event is FREE and open to the public 24 hours a day 7days a week. From Opening Ceremony 14 January 2026 at 10:00am to Losing Ceremony on 19 January 2026 1:45pm Closing Ceremony. There will be an F-22 flyover during the Opening Ceremony along with a helicopter flower leaf drop.
