OutRun Hunger Race Sets the Pace at Harvest Green Oct. 3
Runners, walkers and stroller pushers can kick off their weekend with a little cardio and set the pace to help local families in need at the ninth annual OutRun Hunger 5K Family Walk & Run at Harvest Green Saturday, Oct. 3.
Race activities start at 7 a.m. at the Richmond community's Farmhouse, 3400 Harvest Corner Drive. The race fee is $40 for the 5K and $20 for the kid's run until Sept. 27, after which the price will increase. A "Run and Fundraise" option allows people to sponsor participants. The top three male and female finishers in each age bracket will receive medals. A post-race party will feature a bounce house, face painters, vendors, photo opportunities and more.
