ARTgenta: Immersive Cave Painting
Jump back in time and discover how cave paintings were made with this collaborative art installation!
History nerds, messy artists, and anthropology enthusiasts are all invited to transform the garage at the Argenta Library into a cave painted with works inspired by those of our ancestors! Learn about the fascinating and rich and beautiful history of prehistoric art, craft paints from natural materials, and immerse yourself in what it was like to make art in the dark.
All ages are welcome to stop by any time between 3:00-5:30 to add to this collaborative installation.
This is a free program with no registration and no skill required- But come prepared to get your hands a little dirty!
