Virtual Tour Of The Yiddish Book Center: Between Two Worlds
Join your friends at the Argenta Library for a virtual tour of the Yiddish Book Center!
Led by the wonderful staff of the YBC located in Amherst, Massachusetts, this tour will offer a look into Yiddishland, a place that preserves and maintains the Yiddish language and culture. This tour of the YBC will also feature a screening of the short film, “Bridge of Books.”
The Yiddish Book Center’s Public Libraries Program brings Yiddish literature in translation to public libraries across the United States to deepen their engagement with Yiddish literature and Jewish life, religion, and culture, and to foster vibrant cross-cultural dialogue and discussion in their communities.
This program is best for adults & teens, with no expected skill level or familiarity with the Yiddish language!
