Shakespeare by the Sea in Veterans Park: Macbeth
Few plays capture the dangers of ambition and power as vividly as Macbeth. It demonstrates what happens when grief hardens into ambition, when fear overtakes wisdom, and when those in power silence the voices that speak difficult truths. It is a story about consequence, integrity and the price of unchecked desire. It will invite longtime audiences deeper into the story while offering new audiences an accessible entry point.
Located on a wide, flat grassy area just outside the recreation building. Blankets and beach chairs work great. Layers also recommended. Can be cooler as this location is right over the water.
