Mashup Food Hall is pleased to present The Mashup Artist in Residence Reception: Tiffany Carbonneau, the inaugural event in a new artist residency and public talk series spotlighting contemporary artists whose practices engage place, history, and collective experience.
Working primarily with architectural video installations and time-based media, Carbonneau’s practice bridges personal, national, and global narratives—using projection, scale, and site-specific intervention to activate physical and social spaces. This reception marks Carbonneau’s first public presentation of new bodies of work developed in preparation for two upcoming international residencies and a 2026 solo exhibition in Seoul, South Korea.
The evening will feature an introduction to Carbonneau’s work, followed by an artist’s talk and facilitated conversation that invites audiences into the process behind the projects. The reception foregrounds work emphasizing experimentation, dialogue, and the social life of images—art not as object, but as encounter.
“Mashup is committed to creating access points between contemporary artistic practice and public life,” said Michael Kopp, Program Manager at Mashup. “This residency series positions artists not as distant experts, but as active participants in community dialogue.”
The event will take place in the Stadium at Mashup, a flexible, projection-capable gathering space within the Mashup Food Hall complex. Light refreshments and bar service will be available.
