Featured in HBO’s Murder in Glitterball City—and returning for its 18th year!In 2026, David Dominé’s Victorian Ghost Walk® rises again in historic Old Louisville—the very neighborhood that captivated audiences as the star setting of the HBO Original Murder in Glitterball City. If you were spellbound by the documentary’s moody streets, gaslit alleys, and grand Victorian mansions, now is your chance to step directly into that world.Presented by the South Fourth Street Association under the direction of Keith McGill, this beloved Halloween “porch-and-parlor play” returns for three unforgettable nights—October 16, 17, and 18—with 13 performances each evening. For one magical weekend only, the streets and front lawns of “America’s Most Haunted Neighborhood” come alive as spirits of the Gilded Age rise to tell their chilling tales.Witches and hoodoo priestesses. Poisonings and betrayals. Resurrectionists who robbed fresh graves. Tragic maids, scorned mistresses, fallen millionaires, and a self-proclaimed “Queen of America.” Fan favorites like Jennie Bowman, Simon Kracht, Lucinda, Alfred Victor DuPont, and Maggie Payne return—along with haunting poetry from St. James Court’s own dark bard, Madison Julian Cawein—adding literary elegance to the eerie proceedings.Unlike a typical walking tour, the Victorian Ghost Walk® is an immersive theatrical experience, and it happens once a year only. Guided groups travel through the atmospheric streets of Old Louisville, entering select historic residences along the way. With flickering lantern light, costumed actors, and the architectural grandeur of America’s largest Victorian preservation district as a backdrop, the line between past and present beautifully blurs.Event Details18th Annual Victorian Ghost Walk®October 16, 17, & 1813 tours nightly, departing every 15 minutes starting at 6:00 PMTours begin and end at the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum, 1402 St. James CourtDuration: Approximately 2 hoursRain or shine eventTickets are non-refundableImportant InformationCheck in 10 minutes before your scheduled time at will-call in Haskins Hall (no need to print tickets). This experience is not wheelchair accessible and includes steps, grassy areas, and uneven terrain.
