Why Walk?
In Illinois, suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for ages 15-34 and the 4th leading cause of death for ages 35-54. And in the United States, suicide is the 10th leading cause of death. To prevent suicide, we need to understand it first.
Funds raised at the Out of the Darkness Quad Cities Walk directly support research, advocacy efforts, and educational programs in schools, workplaces, and communities across IL.
