This event is free and open to the public. It has family-friendly activities, live music, and an international potluck luncheon. This is your opportunity to welcome and connect with refugee families who are making their home in Madison!
Food: Potluck serving (bring a dish to pass) begins at 12:30 p.m. Tableware and beverages provided.
Entertainment: Family activities include the Madison Children’s Museum, MSCR’s Clay on the Move, traditional Colombian music by Cumbia Cachaca, the dulcimer/percussive artist Gloria Hays, and much more.
Open Doors for Refugees is a volunteer organization formed in 2016 after Syrian refugees began arriving in Madison. Our mission is to help refugees make a home in the Madison area.
