Orion Financial Free Concert Series: Stax Music Academy Summer Music Experience
Following weeks of music-making, mentorship, and creative collaboration, young artists will showcase what they’ve learned during the Stax Music Academy Summer Music Experience finale in a powerful live performance inspired by the sounds that shaped Memphis.
Presented as part of the Orion Free Concert Series, this family-friendly concert is free and open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and love for live music as we celebrate the next generation of soul.
Know Before You Go:
• The Overton Park Shell, in support of Table Spread Memphis, will accept non-perishable food and essential items during the show, including pasta, pasta sauce (non-meat options), crackers, canned beans (no added meat), peanut butter, jelly, rice, sugar, tuna, oil, oatmeal, canned vegetables, household items, hygiene products, and infant essentials.
• Food Trucks: Tops BBQ | BBQX | Hot & Heavy Dogs | DP Italian Ice
• Picnic baskets, coolers, beverages, blankets, and lawn chairs are always welcome. The Overton Park Shell also offers food and beverage for sale in the Autozone Food and Beverage Concourse. Dogs on a leash are welcome in designated areas. Overton Park Shell is a nonsmoking facility.
