Get ready for a tail-wagging good time at the 28th Annual BARKtoberfest, Friends for Life Animal Rescue’s biggest event of the year!
Bring the whole family—including your four-legged family members—for a fun-filled day featuring lure and agility courses, splash pads, dogs available for adoption, nearly 100 vendor booths, food trucks, dozens of raffle prizes, demonstrations by the Gilbert Police Department K-9 Unit, and plenty more.
The always-popular contests return, including Best Costume, Best Trick and K-9 Idol Howling, giving talented—and sometimes hilariously untalented—canine contestants their chance to shine!
New this year, explore the event while participating in our BARKtoberfest Scavenger Hunt, and don’t miss the Pawsitively Guilty Confessional, where dog and cat parents share the hilariously naughty antics of their otherwise innocent-looking companions. Attendees will have the opportunity to help choose the winner!
Whether you come to meet adoptable dogs, shop the vendors, grab something delicious from the food trucks, show off your dog’s skills or simply spend the day surrounded by fellow animal lovers, there’s something for everyone at BARKtoberfest.
