with independent filmmaking from around the world with more than 120–150 films screened across multiple East Valley venues. Founded in 2016 by Mitesh Patel to bring global cinema to local audiences, the festival now spans ten days of premieres, culturally themed film days, filmmaker workshops, red carpet events, nightly after parties, and networking experiences. With screenings at locations such as Chandler Gilbert Community College, Pollack Cinemas, and Regal Gilbert, along with a finale awards ceremony at the Chandler Center for the Arts, CIFF brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, media, and movie lovers for a vibrant, immersive celebration of storytelling.
