Award Winning Magician, Anthony Hernandez, is brining his show to Pecan Lakes!!
Internationally acclaimed Illusionist and Magician, Anthony Hernandez, will bring his award winning show to Pecan Lakes Entertainment on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
Get ready to go on an exciting magical adventure with Dawn and Anthony! They are a magical duo who will change the way you feel about magic! They will take you on a fantastic, comedy filled, interactive journey! Anthony and Dawn will inspire you with the most intimate of magic and bring you to your feet with some of the largest illusions. The show is filled with moments of awe, it has moments of wonder, and moments that will touch your heart. This show is one you should not miss!
Hernandez, and his partner Dawn, have taken up residence in Arizona and are slated to perform their award-winning show at Pecan Lakes in Queen Creek. The dynamic duo have been bringing audiences to their feet in cities across the United States and fell in love with Arizona making it their permanent residence in April of 2024.
Dawn Morgan reflects, "We consider our show more of an experience. We perform amazing sleight of hand, Vegas style illusions, and storytelling in our show that is more the style of David Copperfield, as opposed to the in your face style of magic many performers are gravitating towards."
For 16 seasons prior to the shutdown, Hernandez and Morgan honed their skills at the Lawrence Welk Resort Theatre in Escondido, California. "We definitely learned a lot from the Welk Theatre", says Hernandez. "We learned how to entertain an all ages audience with a show that was dynamic, funny, and at times...sentimental."
Taking their show on the road was the hardest trick of all. During the storm in February 2023, Morgan and Hernandez had to learn how to navigate their trailer full of magic in all types of weather, and strategically load and unload the show without damaging the props in the rain and snow.
"We don't like to cancel shows, but we were grateful when the Elks Performing Arts Center in Prescott changed our date to July 7, 2023 due to heavy snow," Hernandez explains. "We went to the tire company, checked the tires, bought chains, balanced the load in the trailer....and prayed.. We were ready to give it our best shot."
Anthony Hernandez Illusions has also performed at Legoland, on Disney Cruise Lines, Princess Cruise Lines, at Castle Amusement Park, and the World Famous Hollywood Magic Castle. Anthony has been awarded "Best Male Performer" by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions representing over 4500 amusement parks in 90 countries. Since moving to Arizona last April, their show has been twice nominated as "Best Performing Artist" by "Best of the Valley, Reader's Choice", Phoenix Magazine.
Anthony Hernandez is bilingual in English and Spanish and can entertain guests of all languages!!
