VSW Fashion Brings the Community Together for Venezuela

VSW Fashion Store, formerly known as Valery Swimwear, invites the South Florida community to come together for “Design for Venezuela,” a fundraising event taking place Friday, Aug. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m and Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the brand’s store, located at 8386 NW 56th St. in Doral. Through fashion, creativity and collective action, the initiative aims to raise funds, provide direct assistance and support Venezuelan families affected by the devastating earthquakes of June 24. During “Design for Venezuela,” guests will be invited to participate in a creative experience where they can personalize pieces inspired by Venezuela and transform each design into a message of support. All funds raised through the initiative will go directly toward assisting affected families. “Today, we are not simply designing a T-shirt. We are painting hope for a country we love deeply,” said Claudia Varesano, founder of VSW Fashion. “Creating while our hearts are broken has been difficult, but we believe fashion can also be a powerful tool to bring people together, offer support and help rebuild. Every piece represents our commitment to Venezuela and to the families who need to know they are not alone.” VSW Fashion will also officially introduce ESPERANZA, a new limited-edition collection created in response to the tragedy affecting Venezuela. The collection features an entirely black-and-white color palette representing grief, uncertainty and pain, while also reflecting the possibility of rebuilding and beginning again. ESPERANZA will include Venezuela-inspired T-shirts, tops, bodysuits, leggings, matching sets and special designs featuring messages of unity and solidarity. “ESPERANZA was born from a deeply personal place,” Varesano said. “Black and white represent what we are feeling, but the collection’s name represents what we cannot afford to lose. Even with broken hearts, we continue to believe in the strength of our people and in what we can accomplish when we come together.” In addition to the funds raised during the event, VSW Fashion will accept in-store donations to be delivered to people affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela.
