30 Haunted Nights: Exploring Wisconsin’s Haunted History at Oak Creek Public Library

What if the stories we share around Halloween are rooted in real history? Join authors Brandon Rugzie and Mitch Goth of Haunted US for an engaging look at the documented past and enduring legends behind some of Wisconsin’s most reportedly haunted historic locations. Based on their book 30 Haunted Nights in Wisconsin, this presentation explores the history, folklore, and forgotten figures that have shaped these sites—from grand hotels and storied theaters to cemeteries and small-town landmarks. Blending original photography, on-site research, and thoughtful storytelling, Brandon and Mitch examine how history and haunting intersect—and why these stories continue to captivate us today. This free event is geared toward adults but open to all ages; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. It will take place on Saturday, July 25 at 1:00-2:00 p.m. and will be held in the library's Multi-purpose Room located at 8040 S St, Oak Creek, WI 53154. Registration is not required. Find out more by visiting oakcreeklibrary.org/events or over the phone by calling 414-766-7900.
