U.S. Figure Skating is hosting Skate Milwaukee at the Pettit National Ice Center, July 9-13.
The U.S. Junior Cup, on July 11 and 12, is a national competition that brings together all skaters on the threshold of competing at the World and Olympic levels. Skaters will be selected to represent Team USA in the Grand Prix competition.
According to Chief Referee and US Figure Skating Hall of Fame member Gale Tanger of Wauwatosa, “These world-class athletes are coming to Milwaukee in a face-off to win an international spot on Team USA. An esteemed panel of World and Olympic officials will be in town for the selection. The 2026 Winter Olympics are approaching, and we have a field of athletes ready to try to win a berth on the U.S. team.”
Jason Brown, Olympic Bronze Medalist and top contender for the 2026 Winter Games will conduct on-ice demonstrations at 9:00 am on July 11 and 12.
Admission is $10 per day for the Friday and Saturday events, and parking is free. The daily ticket fee will include Jason Brown’s on-ice demonstrations.
