A dazzling musical that will leave audiences spellbound, “Pippin” runs Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 31 at the Racine Theatre Guild. There’s magic to do in one of “Wicked” creator Stephen Schwartz’s first musicals. A troupe of performers present, and sometimes manipulate, the story of Pippin. Son of Charlemagne, the young prince is in search of happiness, adventure, glory, and his purpose. The coming-of-age journey follows him as he goes to war, explores his passions, leads a revolution, and possibly finds love. Underneath all the spectacle and storytelling, Pippin soon discovers what is truly important in life. Winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Revival, unforgettable lyrics and soaring music come to life in songs like “Corner of the Sky” and “Love Song.” With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O.
