In his new book, Rev. Melvin D. Hargrove uses transparent storytelling, biblical insight, and cultural truth-telling, to expose the myths that disconnect Black men from Christianity: the lie of white superiority, the erasure of African presence in Scripture, and the belief that God is “colorblind.” Drawing from history, theology, and personal revelation, he restores the truth that Black manhood and biblical manhood are not opposites—they are deeply connected.
