Soft Girl Reset: A Creative Wellness Day for Teen GirlsSoft Girl Reset is a guided wellness and creativity experience designed for girls ages 16–19 who need a moment to slow down, connect with others, and reflect on what it means to grow up in today’s world. This thoughtfully structured day blends mentorship, creative expression, and open conversation to help young women explore identity, confidence, and future possibilities in a supportive and welcoming environment.Participants will hear from local women who have built careers and businesses in Milwaukee while engaging in hands-on activities that encourage self-expression, creativity, and meaningful connections with their peers.Throughout the afternoon, we will explore topics such as self-perception, beauty standards, entrepreneurship, mental wellness, and post-high-school opportunities through honest discussion and shared experiences.Guest speakers include Denice Alanis of D'Lash Studio, Amanda Brooks of Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Ebony Ramey of Ebony Esthetic, who will share personal stories from their journeys, lessons learned, and advice for young women navigating early adulthood.Creative time will be led by Blk Girl Space, where participants can take part in a ceramic painting session designed to encourage creativity and self-reflection. Girls who prefer a quieter activity can step outside for fresh air and participate in a guided journaling exercise focused on personal reflection. The afternoon will close with “No Filter Needed,” a facilitated group discussion led by Vibez Creative Arts Space, where participants are invited to talk openly about the realities they are experiencing. This space allows young women to share challenges, celebrate wins, and discuss the support they wish existed. These conversations directly shape future Soft Girl Reset programming and resources. Our goal is simple: create a safe environment where young women feel heard, supported, and inspired to think about their next steps with confidence.Reservation InformationThis event is free to attend.
