Portraits of Curiosity

Cahoot?! Physical Theatre ensemble presents a special evening of theatre, Portraits of Curiosity. Minneapolis theatre fans are invited to enjoy this spectacle of physical performance, drama, comedy and play in the ensemble’s latest original work of theatre. A slimy guide tap dances through the space, a forgetful creature sings to a plant, a fellow in a hat struggles to arrange his books just so - guests of Portraits of Curiosity will witness a handful of unique characters, in the distinctive style known only to Cahoot?! The ensemble draws on their backgrounds in clown and circus arts, mask performance, and character-driven storytelling to create this glimpse into five characters’ curious lives. Cahoot?! Physical Theatre is a collaboratively run physical theatre company started in the Twin Cities in 2019. The group offers physical theatre training, community building experiences, and live theatre performance, all for free. The ensemble began their collaboration attending the now closed Dell’Arte Physical Theatre school in Blue Lake, California, where they practiced acrobatics, physical comedy, Commedia Dell’Arte and more. Audiences are likely to see something polished, fun and completely original. FREE. All ages, best enjoyed by ages 10 and up.
