Minnesota Mineral Club’s Annual Rock, Mineral & Gem Show - An Exciting Event for All Ages! Mark your calendars and get ready to unearth a spectacular weekend of minerals and gemstones - more than 60 Vendors offer a dazzling selection of minerals, crystals, fossils, jewelry, gemstones, agates, and lapidary treasures that will leave attendees in awe. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a casual enthusiast, you’ll find something to spark your interest! Also at the show are many delightful and intriguing earth science-related opportunities that are sure to capture your interest and leave you amazed: • Live demonstrations such as faceting, trim sawing or mineral carving will create enthusiasm for the lapidary arts. • The Rock Identification table: Experts will help to identify and discuss YOUR unique mineral finds. This interactive element allows visitors to learn more about their own mineral discoveries and gain valuable insights into the world of geology. • Short, medium, and long wavelength light on glowing minerals will astonish all who enter the Fluorescent Display area. • Families are encouraged to explore our Kids’ Corner: a specially curated area that caters to young rock hounds. Engaging and educational activities will ensure that children have a blast while learning about the wonders of minerals. • Museum-quality exhibits from local collectors will give visitors a deeper understanding of the beauty and complexity of these earthly treasures. • Partnering with us are Science Museum of Minnesota and Geological Society of Minnesota. Their knowledgeable volunteers will provide attendees with fascinating insights about the unique and rare specimens they bring to the show. Parking is free.
