Amy Finch
Born and raised in South Carolina, Amy has become a familiar face in the vibrant music scene of the Twin Cities. Since migrating west after college, she’s been entertaining audiences with her dreamy keys and soulful vocals at local breweries, bars, festivals and events.
Amy’s musical journey began early, pounding out tunes by Gladys Knight & the Pips and Stevie Wonder on the family’s Wurlitzer Orbit 3 as a kid. Over the years she’s honed her craft, infusing performances with a blend of blues, roots and jazz influences that have come to define her distinctive, approachable sound.
Amy performs as both a solo artist and in collaboration with other talented musicians in dynamic duos, trios, and larger ensembles including: The Tender Souls, Scott Zosel Band and Dan Rumsey & The Rhythm Pups.
Amy’s musical vibe is a fusion of Bonnie Raitt, Madeleine Peyroux and Rickie Lee Jones' legendary styles. Her performances are marked by engaging interpretations of classic and contemporary tunes, along with bluesy originals that resonate with a wide audience.
