The White Bear Area Food Shelf is excited to bring the music back to the waters of WBL County Park on Saturday, August 1 from 6 to 10 p.m. during its annual Heartbeat for Hunger concert. Back for a second straight year, the event will be headlined by the local band, NUNNABOVE, plus include a performance from special guest Frankie Torres. There will also be food trucks, beer and seltzer, and more! www.heartbeatforhunger.org
All proceeds from Heartbeat for Hunger will go to the White Bear Area Food Shelf which has served as a critical resource for families experiencing food insecurity since 1977. Providing food and support to over 6,000 families each month from across the northeast Twin Cities Metro, it works toward eliminating barriers that have traditionally limited access to healthy food for families living on a low or fixed income. This event helps ensure the 300 daily visitors to the food shelf receive abundant food and support.
Tickets are required for entry and are free with a donation to the White Bear Area Food Shelf. https://whitebearareafoodshelf.betterworld.org/events/heartbeat-hunger-2026
