Harken Hall’s Music City Roots Set for May 27

Music City Roots at Harken Hall is set for May 27 featuring Rhonda Vincent, Hannah Dasher and Crystal Bowersox. These artists bring a signature mix of discovery, storytelling, and unforgettable live performances to the stage. Grand Ole Opry member Rhonda Vincent has a powerful vocal style which transcends the boundaries of bluegrass as evidenced in her collaboration with Dolly Parton on the Elton John/Bernie Taupin Tribute project “Restoration” in 2018. Her pivotal bluegrass album “Back Home Again” transformed her into the all-American Bluegrass Girl. A regular on the Grand Ole Opry, Hannah Dasher is a Fender Next artist and a CMT “Next Women of Country Music” recipient. She lives like she looks and her “Honkytonk Graceland” home is a testament this artist is no character. Preserving the best of nostalgic country music and building upon it with a fresh, new sound, Hannah Dasher feels like the big piece of the puzzle that has been missing for a while in country music. Crystal Bowersox first captured national attention as a finalist on the ninth season of American Idol. Her time on the show proved to be well spent. In 2010, her debut album, Farmer’s Daughter, was released. Since then, she has released three LPs, two EPs, and several singles, and is currently developing a theatrical rock concert titled Trauma Queen. Music City Roots celebrates great musicians, great acoustics, and the thrill of live performance. The format includes performances along with interviews of each artist. Legendary artist Too Slim from Riders in the Sky will serve as host, Keith Bilbrey will return as announcer and Ranger Doug Green of Riders in the Sky will interview each artist. Born as a live radio show and now a nationally recognized television series, Music City Roots has a long-standing partnership with WMOT 89.5 FM in the Murfreesboro-Nashville area. The showcase is set for May 27, and doors open at 6:00 p.m. for the 7:00 p.m. concert. Tickets start at $25 and are now on sale at https://www.harkenhall.com/. Harken Hall is located at 514 Madison Station Blvd. Madison, Tn 37115, just 11 minutes from downtown Nashville. Complimentary parking is available, and food and beverages may be purchased throughout the evening.
