Visit Meigs Point Nature Center on July 19th at 4pm for a special presentation about upcoming plans to restore the shore at Hammonasset Beach State Park! If you want to learn more about what living shorelines are, how this project can benefit Hammonasset, and what designs may look like, this presentation is for you!
This presentation is part of Salt Marsh Days at Meigs Point Nature Center. The Audubon Society partners with the State of Connecticut to host Salt Marsh Days each summer. These educational, fun, and family friendly events aim to teach the local community about the beautiful and important salt marsh ecosystems right in our backyard.
