Acro Sexy: Acro Yoga Fusion Workshop - New York
Welcome to AcroSexy: a cross between acro yoga, tantra, and play that will bring out the child-like pleasure we all long for...
You will melt into beginner-friendly acro yoga and tantra-infused movement to bring out fun, laughter, and connection.
Let your body soften, open, and come alive in a space that feels safe and deliciously liberating.
What to Know:
Duration: 2.5 hours
Location: Our private Tribeca loft (address in email confirmation)
No partner needed: Come solo, most people do!
What to bring: Comfortable/yoga clothing for movement + water bottle
No experience needed: Beginners or experienced are all welcome
Doors lock at 7:15pm to honor the container
Workshop Flow:
We start with an opening circle to welcome you, make agreements, and warm up through connection games and authentic relating. Then we'll introduce basic acro yoga poses and practice in small groups to get comfortable with this form of movement (no experience needed!) We'll go around and help everyone with adjustments and assists.
Once warmed up, we drop into more sensuous and playful elements through fun improv and touch-based games. This is where the playfulness and vulnerability really come alive. And we'll create a practice space to experiment with these newer elements and build them into the poses we practiced before.
Each person will explore in a way that feels good for them.
We'll close with a circle for sharing and integration so everyone feels light, connected, and grounded.

Basic acro yoga skills for even the most unexperienced or nervous

Tantra-infused connection techniques to help you flow into connection, and dance in the sweetest ways
Sexy adjustments and modifications you can use with an intimate partner to spice things up. (This is optional and offered for those who are looking for something juicier!)

The AcroSexy method and approach to play is a new way forward towards connection, fun & embodiment that has never been brought together in quite this way!

Facilitators
Brent Cotton is owner and partner at Lache Movement Co. in Austin, Texas with an extensive background in acrobatics, yoga, massage, and dance. He is a certified teacher in acroyoga, yoga and dance, teaching classes in Texas and along the east coast. Having been an active part of the acro community for several years, Brent is a founding member of South Austin Acro Monday Night Jam, served as the VP of Austin Acroyoga Advocates, and has led several associated communities and workshops. He holds a strong commitment to movement and connection as a tool for intimacy.
Leora is a pleasure coach and facilitator, working at the intersection of kink, sensuality, and healing. With an extensive background in trauma-informed somatics and tantric bodywork, she has trained with renowned experts in relational and power dynamics. Leora is dedicated to using pleasure as a modality and pathway to reclaim intimacy and deepen self-connection in and out of the bedroom, with self and others. She weaves shibari, ritual, and energy play into profound, transformational journeys.
