8-hour Alcohol & Drug Education Class


This court-approved Alcohol and Drug Education Class is designed to provide individuals with essential knowledge about the effects of alcohol and drug use, while promoting responsible decision-making and behavioral change. The course offers a comprehensive overview of how substances impact the brain, body, and overall functioning, as well as the legal, social, and personal consequences associated with misuse. Participants will explore patterns of use, risk factors, and triggers, while gaining practical tools to reduce the likelihood of future substance-related issues. The class encourages self-awareness, accountability, and the development of healthier coping strategies. As part of the program, participants attend a Victim Impact Panel, where real-life experiences are shared to highlight the far-reaching effects of substance use on individuals, families, and the community. This component is intended to foster empathy and reinforce the importance of making safer choices. The course is conducted in a respectful, structured, and non-judgmental environment, and meets court requirements for alcohol and drug education. A certificate of completion is provided upon successful participation. The cost of the class is $75.00. Class must be prepaid in advance. Walk ins are not guaranteed seating.
