NAACP Omaha Branch Freedom Fund Banquet

Since 1915, the Omaha branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has been steadfast in its mission to promote civil rights, a commitment that continues today. We are thrilled to invite the city to our annual Freedom Fund Banquet, where we will celebrate another year of God’s faithfulness and our community’s progress. This year’s theme, “We’re All In!” embodies our dedication to service through initiatives such as monthly legal clinics, community discussions, voter engagement, and advocacy for those facing discrimination. The Freedom Fund Banquet is the Omaha NAACP Branch’s primary fundraising event, supporting our continued efforts to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion. Through your generosity, we can advance policies that protect human and civil rights, combat discrimination, and enhance the well-being, education, and economic opportunities for Black people and all communities of color. During the banquet, we will present three Freedom Fighter awards and a President’s Award to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to our community.
