Kids Club at Heartwood Preserve: Molecular Mayhem with Omaha Children’s Museum
Grab your lab coat, this week’s Kids Club activity is Molecular Mayhem with the Omaha Children’s Museum. Explore what happens to molecules when they are put to the test, watch liquids become solids, soap become fluffy, and chip bags shrink. This event is all about molecules and chemical reactions!
Kids (ages 5-11) are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. No drop-offs, please!
Heartwood Park, Omaha’s newest outdoor community gathering space within Heartwood Preserve, is the go-to destination for family and friends every weekend this summer. Enjoy over 70 FREE events on Thursdays through Sundays hosted at Heartwood Park for residents and families who want to unwind, have fun and connect outdoors.
To make visits more enjoyable, the Heartwood Park Ambassador program offers visitors amenities to borrow on-site, including picnic blankets, board games, lawn games and sports gear for all to enjoy. Amenities will be available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
