Pickleball 101: Free Pickleball Lessons at Heartwood Preserve
Pickleball 101 provides free, beginner-friendly group lessons every Thursday evening in May at Heartwood Park, located at 301 S. 145th Street in Omaha.
There will be three professional instructors from Pickleball Omaha to guide participants through the fundamentals in a relaxed group setting. There are two sessions each evening across three pickleball courts, so come as you are, bring a friend or make new ones.

Free, open play on Heartwood's new pickleball courts and half-basketball court is available May through September from sunrise to sunset during park hours. There are no reservations needed for open play.
In addition to pickleball and basketball, Heartwood Park offers a variety of free recreation events and amenities throughout the year, including the Heartwood Activity Bar. During park hours and events, visitors can borrow sports equipment, lawn games, board games and yoga mats. Challenge friends to horseshoes, start a pickup basketball game or relax with classic card games at the park’s picnic table areas.
