Outlook Enrichment Hosts Annual New Years Bowling Bash
Blind and low-vision bowlers, along with sighted friends and family, are invited to join the fun on January 3 from 3-5:30 p.m. at Maplewood Lanes (3030 North 101st Street).
Registration includes shoes, two hours of bowling and adaptations to ensure blind bowlers can navigate up to the bowling lane and get lined up before launching the ball. Pizza and pop will also be available.
The event offers the opportunity for those dealing with vision loss to come together, fostering lasting connections in a welcoming, inclusive environment. There are 15,000 youth and adults who experience significant vision loss in Omaha, and Outlook Enrichment is dedicated to helping them stay independent, connected and engaged in the community.
