Welcome to the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church South Omaha neighborhood for the church's annual Polish Festival, a perennial "Best of Omaha" winner. Dozens of volunteers have worked all summer creating over 21,000 handmade pierogi (favorite Polish dumplings filled with kraut, potato, or sweet cheese). In addition, the menu features gołabki (cabbage rolls), Polish sausage, hot dogs, burgers and Sloppy Joe's, and desserts, domestic beer and Żywiec Polish beer.
Polka bands will play live dance music throughout the day. Popular attractions include the grocery booth, plant booth, cake walk, children's rides, ham/salami booth, and raffles. Parking is available at Metropolitan Community College South Campus at 2909 Edward "Babe" Gomez Avenue (30th & Q Streets) with a free ride to the Festival on Ollie the Trolley. Details are updated on the St. Stanislaus Polish Festival Facebook page St. Stanislaus Polish Festival or contact the parish office, 402-731-4152 with questions.
