NSGS Genealogy Conference: Tracing Roots Across Borders and Generations


The Nebraska State Genealogical Society will host a one-day genealogy conference on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Omaha. The program features professional genealogist Lisa Vogele, presenting three sessions focused on immigration research and tracing ancestral movement across borders and generations. Conference highlights include: • Three genealogy education sessions • Vendor tables and genealogy resources • Door prizes and raffle drawings throughout the day • Opportunities to connect with fellow researchers Following the conference, attendees may join an optional guided tour of Prospect Hill Cemetery, Omaha’s oldest burial ground, led by cemetery preservationist Shannon Justice of History Walks LLC.
