Lake County Democratic Environmental Caucus cleans up local lake, 12/17/2025 at 9am at Lake Eustis
The Lake County Democratic Environmental Caucus (LCDECF) is now part of the Adopt-A-Lake program for Lake County. The Caucus is proud to announce its next Adopt-A-Lake community service event, scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM in Tavares, Florida.
The Adopt-A-Lake program represents the caucus's ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement. On the third Wednesday of every month, volunteers gather to clean the shoreline, remove debris, and help preserve the natural beauty of Lake County's precious water resources. In addition, samples are taken from the lake to be sent in to test for algae and other pollutants.
The December 17th event welcomes volunteers of all ages and experience levels. Participants are encouraged to bring reusable gloves, water bottles, and sun protection. All other supplies and equipment will be provided by the caucus. Event Details:
