LIZ’S Birthday Closet (“the Closet”) is a 501(c)(3) community-based charity serving children and families in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania. The Closet ensures that every child feels celebrated on their birthday, regardless of their circumstances. In 2026, we expect to serve approximately 700 children through both our stationary Closet and our Mobile Closet, which bring birthday joy directly to families with limited access to transportation or resources. Our work addresses critical community needs by supporting the emotional well-being of children experiencing economic hardship or family instability, and by reaching underserved families through our Mobile Closet program. The Closet is operated entirely by volunteers, including our dedicated Board of Directors.
The gifts provided through the Closet are fully supported by generous donors, who contribute not only dollars but new toys, games, books, clothing, and other appropriate items for children ages 1 to 16. These donations ensure that every child receives a meaningful and personal birthday experience.
