An interactive workshop where artists learnto identify their audience, and present their work professionally online and in applications

This workshop focuses on how artists present themselves visually and strategically to galleries, clients, commissioners, and opportunities. Participants will explore how to choose portfolio pieces, identify their audience, and present their work digitally in ways that feel professional and aligned with their goals.

This is an interactive, feedback-based session. Prior to the workshop, participants will submit 5 images that represent their practice. During the session, we’ll print and review them together to discuss:

  • Who is your audience?
  • What opportunities fit your work?
  • What makes a strong portfolio (and what weakens one)?
  • When Instagram is enough—and when it’s not
  • What a professional presentation looks like for galleries and applications
  • How to align your statement, bio, and visuals into one cohesive story

This workshop is about strategy, clarity, and seeing your work the way others see it.

You will leave with:

✔ A clearer sense of your audience

✔ A stronger, more intentional portfolio selection

✔ Feedback on how and where to present your work digitally

✔ A plan for presenting yourself professionally

Ideal for artists who already have statements/bios but aren’t sure how to show their work effectively.
