Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. and Local First Arizona are partnering on a round-up campaign from May 12–31 to raise funds and awareness for Keep Arizona Beautiful, a Local First Arizona initiative driving community cleanups, waste reduction and environmental stewardship across the state.
At all Arizona Wilderness locations, guests are invited to round up their tabs to the nearest dollar, with proceeds directed to Keep Arizona Beautiful's ongoing cleanup events, litter removal and beautification projects throughout Arizona.
Throughout the campaign, Arizona Wilderness will also feature the Keep Arizona Beautiful specialty license plate in its restaurants. Of the plate's $25 annual fee, $17 goes directly toward Local First Arizona's cleanup efforts. The plate is available at azmvdnow.gov, any MVD office or any authorized third-party provider.
"Arizona Wilderness Brewing is proud to partner with Local First to support their Keep Arizona Beautiful initiative,” said Jonathan Buford, Owner and Co-Founder, Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. “We have many in-house initiatives that strive to keep Arizona as our number one priority. With this partnership, we're not just reducing waste, we're investing in cleaner trails, stronger communities, and a future where Arizona stays wild."
The partnership reflects a natural alignment between Arizona Wilderness' commitment to crafting beer and food in an ethical and environmentally responsible way and Local First Arizona's programs to protect and preserve the natural beauty of Arizona's outdoor spaces, from desert trails and riverbanks to neighborhood parks and trail gateway communities.
“Local First Arizona loves collaborating with Arizona Wilderness. There is a natural alignment between Arizona Wilderness' mission and our Keep Arizona Beautiful initiative," said Kimber Lanning, founder and CEO of Local First Arizona. "Together, we're reminding Arizonans that our everyday choices have real and meaningful impacts on the communities we love. From how we produce or source goods to how we dispose of waste, our collective actions matter."
Keep Arizona Beautiful: Impact by the Numbers
