Eight hundred years ago, St. Francis and St. Clare desired to follow Jesus Christ in an alternative way. They wanted to follow the poor man of Nazareth and walk in his footprints. Their vision drew others who together formed communities with a common bond of simplicity, prayer, contemplation and serving the least in society. For eight hundred years, vowed religious and lay people have lived out this vision.
We invite you to this workshop to explore the stories of our founders and Franciscan values, to learn from Casa community members, and to make a commitment to deepening your connection to the Franciscan vision.
