Mint Cannabis Willowbrook Dispensary Offers 44% Veteran Discount on Nov. 11
Mint Cannabis’ Willowbrook dispensary offers veterans a year-round 22% discount — the largest veteran discount of any dispensary in Illinois. The figure was chosen deliberately: 22 veterans die by suicide each day in the U.S., roughly one every 65 minutes.
To honor their service and raise awareness about veteran mental-health challenges, Mint will double the discount to 44% on Veterans Day — Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025. Veterans must present valid military identification at checkout (Military ID, U.S. Uniformed Services Identification Card, or U.S. Uniformed Services Retired Identification Card) to receive the discount.
“With nearly half a million veterans living in Illinois, supporting veteran well-being matters to us,” said Omar Fakhouri of Mint Cannabis. “The psychological toll of service — trauma, chronic stress, physical sacrifice — is real, and stigma too often keeps brave people from asking for help. This is our small way to honor them and encourage conversation about mental health.”
