On Wednesday, Dec. 24, Phoenix City Grille presents the following prix fixe menu and optional add-ons: Starter course, choice of one: Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with butternut squash roasted peppers, toasted pepitas and maple crema Beet Salad with mixed greens, local citrus segments, roasted beets, spiced pecans, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette Crab Cake with arugula, local radish, avocado mousse and mustard vinaigrette Caprese Salad featuring fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, basil, olive oil, sea salt and balsamic reduction Entrée course, choice of one: Portobello Ragù Pappardelle—Fresh pappardelle pasta with marinated portobello mushrooms, ragù sauce and Romano cheese Crispy Buttermilk Chicken with green chile corn cakes, Oaxacan chile maple glaze and green bean slaw Prime Rib—Featuring 12-ounce Linz Heritage Prime with blue cheese mashed potatoes, wild mushroom-corn relish, guajillo au jus, smoked crispy onions and horseradish creme Beef Tenderloin “Oscar Style”—Featuring 7-oz. wood-grilled beef tenderloin, lump crab, parsnip purée with cipollini onions, grilled asparagus and bordelaise sauce Pan-Seared Chula Bluenose Bass with sunchoke purée, smoked beets, watercress, pomegranate relish and lemongrass beurre blanc Dessert course, choice of one: Apple Empanadas with spiced apples, cinnamon, caramel sauce, berries and vanilla ice cream Espresso Pot de Crème featuring pecan crumble, fresh berries and dark chocolate dust Turtle Cheesecake with salted caramel Optional add-ons include: Ceviche: Sea Bass—Lime marinated citrus segments, pomegranates, serrano peppers, avocado, cilantro, red onions and agua chile Negra, $24 Shrimp Cocktail featuring Wild Gulf shrimp, house cocktail and remoulade sauce, $18 Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp featuring two Wild Gulf shrimp, cotija cheese, smoked bacon and chipotle aioli, $14 Brussels Sprouts Hash—Roasted Brussels, bell peppers, onions, smoked bacon and balsamic reduction, $18 Short Rib Empanadas featuring braised short tub, asadero, salsa verde, arbol salsa and cilantro crema Eggplant Bites—Crispy eggplant, tomato jam, red pepper relish, goat cheese, arugula and balsamic reduction, $14 The three-course Christmas Eve meal is $85++. Add-on prices are as noted above. A credit card is required to hold a reservation. Bookings are now available via OpenTable. The last available booking is 7:30 p.m. Phoenix City Grille will be closed on Christmas Day to allow staff to enjoy the holiday with loved ones.
