Carefree Lights Up!
Join us on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. as Carefree Lights Up!
Experience the magic of the holiday season in Carefree! Join your neighbors and friends around the 20-foot Christmas tree by the Veterans Memorial for festive cheer, music, and the annual tree-lighting countdown led by Mayor John Crane. Start the evening with joyful holiday carols performed by local choir Joyful Sounds.
After the tree lighting, stroll over to the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion for live performances, including strings by the Jubilate Conservatory of Music and handbells by Desert Hills Presbyterian Church. Sip free hot chocolate with all the fixings while enjoying the Christmas Concert, featuring local singers organized by Kevin Glenn, the Desert Cactus Kickers dance troupe, and the POP (Performing Outreach Project) dance group.
