CaZo Dance Theatre's "You Are Not Alone: In Memoriam"
Inspired by real stories from CaZo artistic director Bridgette Borzillo and CaZo Dance members, You are not Alone is a powerful, movement-driven production that explores the nuances of real high school experiences and the emotional realities of identity, belonging, and the silent struggles
many face in the age of social media. Touching on many tough subjects many teens struggle with (bullying, peer pressure, sexual encounters, coming out, rumors, crushes, suicide, body image), the work reflects the pressures of friendship, social expectations, and the longing to be truly seen. At its core, You Are Not Alone is a reminder to everyone, young and old, that even in life’s darkest moments, connection is possible; no one has to do it alone.
Our 2026 presentation of You Are Not Alone is dedicated to the memory of Keanna Agustin, a beloved dancer and creative force whose spirit, passion, and light continue to live on in every movement shared on stage.
