Future Veterinarians Gain Real-World Experience at Vistancia Animal Hospital
Students will participate in patient intake, physical exams, diagnostics and treatment planning before observing surgical procedures. The event will conclude with student presentations and recognition of essay contest winners. Event sponsor, Companion Pet Hospital, will award $500 in prize money to essay winners, to support students pursuing continuing education in veterinary medicine.
