The Family Reunion: a Juneteenth Celebration

The Family Reunion: a Juneteenth Celebration is a collaborative event in Phoenix designed to bring the city’s growing Black community together through unity, belonging, and joy. Inspired by the tradition of Black family reunions, this family-friendly celebration is culturally authentic and accessible, offering a space where Black residents can connect, celebrate, and be represented. Last year, over 3,000 attendees joined us for a day filled with food, music, games, and entertainment. We partnered with more than 40 community-focused organizations, supported 11 local creatives, and provided 500+ free meals.
