Lisa Perrin is a Portland, Oregon-based mahjong enthusiast who discovered the game over two years ago and quickly fell in love with its strategy, community, and charm. Inspired by the game’s growing popularity, she’s excited to share her passion by teaching others.
In her 2 hour class, she teaches tile identification and how to read the National Mahjong League Card. You'll learn the procedures of play and how to create winning hands, all while covering the essential rules of the game. The lesson will include how to deal and the procedure of the Charleston. During this lesson you'll play games with guidance along the way. You'll receive handouts that will guide your future play.
You will need to attend Mahjong 101a (June 11th @ 5:30pm) and 101b (June18th @ 5:30pm) for full instruction
