BRISTOL COUNTY CHORUS WILL BE PERFORMING ITS SPRING CONCERT
The Bristol County Chorus will be presenting its Spring concert, entitled Together, in two concerts in June at Holy Angels Church in Barrington on Saturday June 6th at 7pm and at the First Congregational Church in Bristol on Sunday June 7th at 3 pm. The concert will include a selection of music with themes of community, solidarity and belonging with a variety of pop, gospel and world music providing a night of entertainment for young and old. Several chorus favorites such as Skyfall, Make Your Own Kind of Music, How Can I Keep from Singing, In a Distance and other contemporary pieces will also be presented. The chorus is conducted by Director of Music Nicholas Rocha. Mr. Rocha enters his eighth year as Director of the ensemble, which he has served in various capacities since 2014. He holds a master’s degree in choral conducting from The Boston Conservatory as well as a B.A. in music from Vassar College.
