Each week, the topic will introduce a variety of drawing skills, color theory, and artistic expression. Still-life objects, as well as photographs, will be used to help students select a composition. Observational drawing and artistic interpretation will be emphasized to render subjects. Blithewold’s gardens and arboretum will inspire the classwork.
The main material will be colored pencil with various options for multi-media. Materials will be provided. Students of all abilities are encouraged to attend.
