CCF Summer Block Party
Connecting for Children & Families invites the community to our annual Summer Block Party, a free, family-friendly event that brings together local children, families, and community partners for an afternoon of fun, connection, and celebration in Woonsocket. In collaboration with NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley for NeighborWeek, this event highlights the power of community while supporting a meaningful cause.
Sponsored by Amica Insurance, IT Support RI, and Starkweather and Shepley, families can enjoy a wide range of interactive games, activities, and entertainment, along with free food and refreshing treats. We are excited to feature local vendors and partners, including Alien Ice and RI Kung Fu and Lion Dance Club, who will help create a vibrant and engaging experience for attendees of all ages.
More than just a celebration, the Summer Block Party also serves as a fundraiser to support CCF’s summer programs. Donations help ensure these programs remain free and accessible to Woonsocket families. These programs play a critical role during the summer months by providing children with safe, enriching activities, while also allowing caregivers to continue working and supporting their households with peace of mind.
